Well me a Hanahtu bought our selves many kraata sets. We got at least one stage to 33 of the type of kraata. With this I am only missing 50 kraata. Close but not close enough.

Voporak!
So I recently ordered a Voporak set from Bricklink and today was the lucky day it came in.
Although I didn't build the featured figure. I already had Voporak built but I did not have a Roodaka or Sentrakh. I mostly got the set for the box and instructions for Voporak as well as a Roodaka. Sentrakh was just a nice use of the last two sets.
I was surprised the Sentrahk (a combiner of Sidorak and Keetongu) didn't use nearly as much parts as I would have thought.
Needless to say the purchase was well worth it for the box and instructions. Voporak is one of those "sets" that I made a long time ago and kinda became a favorite of mine. Helps that I really like his build and overall look.
Of course we needed a group photo of the three "Titan Combo models" from 2005. The ShadowOne (far right) isn't mine as Hannahtu owns him. I do plan and building my own which may bee sooner rather than later.
One last not of interest is the condition of the three sets that comprise of Voporak. Sidorak's parts seemed slightly dusty but nice. Keetongu where virtually untouched but Roodaka had the interesting parts. Not only was her parts in great shape but bag 2 of her set was still sealed (This is her leg partion). Seemed like the original owner never actually build Voporak. Cool and weird.

Some new stuff!
First off win a new find in Value Village.
Best part of this is it completed my collection of the young reader books. Funny enough this one and "Desert of Danger" were both found at the some store.
Second part of this post will go to this lovely pile of Bionicles.
Hanahtu got this stuff from a coworker friend. More will be posted on this later.

Brickcon 2018 loot
So again this year again I and Hanahtu went to Brickcon in Seattle. Like always there will be a lot of loot.
Always so much good stuff.
These are all the Bionicle stuff I got.
Not as much as other years but not bad.
Decent masks from these lovely sets.
Also got to meet Breanna Sledge. That was pretty awesome.

Not bad of a find
So after another Value Village hunting trip Hanahtu and I found some decent stuff. This was my find.
Some okay hero factory parts as well as some generic technic parts.
However this sealed Levahk Va was a real treat

Something I never new I wanted. UNTIL NOW
So while going threw some Value Villages like I do when in the city I myself and Hanahtu found each a copy of Bionicle 2 Legends of Metru Nui.
Now I did have one but this was different as this had one of those sleeve things which was quite reflective. Also had a flap to open.
Hanahtu's wasn't as interesting but was a little different as it had a blue case as well as a different designed disk.
So now we have four different kinds. As a side note I like how the one in the back has a nice reflective ability.

Some goodies
So today Hanahtu and myself found some lovely stuff today.
I recon there is close to half of the Bahrag.
These little guys were in great condition. Matoro did also have his disk but is was not around for the picture.
Some extra herofactory/bionicle/starwars stuff which will be great for mocing. Really glad Kylo Ren didn't have his head and the fact he DID have his cape made it even better.
This lot here was what Hanahtu found.
Finally the good stuff. Almost mint condition with the game board still in it's cardboard packaging. We are definitely going to have to play it at some point.

Been a while
So it's been a while but sadly it has a lot to do with Bionicle taking a side spot to other Lego themes. However Hanahtu did find this beauty which I was able to acquire for my collection.
A little beat up but it's nice to have one of the brown sets sealed. Also this is the only box from the brown line of sets I was missing.

I have it!
Well this happened a while ago and kinda forgot about but a while ago I finally went to my local books store and what do I find? TIME TRAP!!!
I've checked countless thrift stores over and over around the province and never found this until now and I can thank my younger sister for dragging me there. It was the only book I was missing from that series and I finally have it! Ah life is good.
Also to note this was my favorite Bionicle book for a long time. Might still be kinda hard to say as it's been a while since I've read them all.

Bionicle Room update.
A couple weeks ago I acquired a new shelf (Perks at working at a cabinet shop) and figured it would go into the Bionicle room nicely. (You can also see I acquired some new posters)
We also reorganized the back end of the room

Nice Value Villager find
Yet another find at Value Village. This time actually by me.
Not a bad batch of Bionicles I must say. Main thing that is good is the Nohrik with the canister and the sealed Kopaka nuva. It was also nice to finally have a canister for my Vakama as well as owning a Inika Matoro.

Yes more Bricklink
So continuing with Bionicle we have done another order this one mainly for sets plus a few extra such as more krana, some Bioncle game cards and a watch.
Now because of this I have all the turaga posters while now Hanahtu has all the canisters to the toa mata as befoe he was missing Lewa's lid.
Not a lot else to say except that I got Nuju and he got Onewa but we swapped boxes so I have Onewa. I haven't had one of those in over 15 years.

Feels like highway robery
So on the weekend Hanahtu came across a lot of Bionicles online by the help of our sister Mithra Nui. The whole lot was for $200 CA and this is what we got.
This was all the parts left over. You can see there is a couple visorak chunks as well as a hero factory set Waspix(I think that's what it's called)
Then there is this hug batch of toa, toa nuva, bohrok, rakshi, vahki, toa metru, a couple toa hordika and metru nui matoran. Most of the sets in this picture are complete. Also those two trans orange masks are pretty nice.
We also got all the generation 2 sets. Only a couple parts were missing to Tahu's shadow trap but the rest is all there which means my Makuta combo "set" is now complete as well of Hanahtu missing only Lava Beast. (And yes at the time of the picture the tree was still up but was taken down shortly after)
In the left of this picture is incomplete rakshi and toa some of which have been mixed and matched. To the right are one complete Nui Rama set and incomplete one and a small chunk to a fifth rama. This worked out great as earlier Hanahtu and I split one up before so now we a complete set each.
Here were all the titans, piraka, inika, and small sets like Turaga, Tohunga, Voya Nui Matoran, and the only Bohrok Va. This was the group that helped most for my collection as I got Hahkan, Vesok, Thok, Inika Jaller, Inika Nuparu (for now), Irnakk and the Bohrok Va
Finally there was also this guy which came from the "Battle of Metru Nui" play set from 2005. Pretty cool to have this I must say.
Over all this for the amount of money kinda felt like robbery but hey I'm not complaining. Splitting it three ways with Hanahtu, Leseff and I made it pretty cheap for each of us.
On a side not I was also able to acquire another krana and a couple more kraata to add to my collection.

More Posters for the wall!
A while back I contacted our older siblings to see if they would be willing to hand down their old Bionicle posters, as they no longer seemed to have much interest in their Bionicle collection. A couple weeks ago, Hau One (Who lives many, many Kios away) was recently visiting because of Canadian Thanksgiving, and he found where his were. He kindly donated them to our wall.
Posters acquired were 3 Toa, Onua, Pohatu, and Tahu, 2 Turaga, Onewa and Vakama, 2 Bohrok Va, Pahrak and Tahnok, and the mask list. I got the Pohatu (As it didn't have the stripe at the bottom with all the Toa, so no all my Toa posters match) and the two Va posters. Onvermel got the rest.
As for the posters belonging to Lost Matoran and Mithra Nui, Well, they both have said they know where they are, and both would consider parting with them. If that is the case, then both Onvermel and myself will have all 6 Toa posters, will both be missing one Turaga poster (Maybe, we aren't entirely sure which Turaga ones Lost Matoran had) as well as a couple more Va. Oh, and I should complete my Mata Matoran posters to match Onvermel. Sadly, none of our older siblings have any of the Mctoran posters. The only ones any of us had were acquired by buying a set off of Bricklink.
To our count, there are 30 posters (Plus some others, but they aren't cool) Six Toa, 6 Turaga, 6 Mctoran, 6 Mata Matoran, and 6 Bohrok Va. Currently, Onvermel has 19, and I have 15. Onvermel has the lead due to him having the complete set of the Mata Matoran, and one more Turaga. We have equal amounts of Toa (The exact same 4, even) and both have two Mctoran and three Va.

More collecting!
So with an order we did recently we got some free stuff that was shipped afterwards and coming from work it was here waiting for me. I got the Fiku (hope that's spelled right) spider and the trrans-neon green miru while Hanahtu got the orange Vahi. So now we both have both colours of Vahi's

Recent acquisitions
So over the last few weeks I've acquired some more special collectables. The trans-clear mask of fire from 2015 which arrived in the mail actually just in time for Brickcon. By this I mean the day before we left. While at Brickcon I was also able to pick up a gold vahi and the disk of time.
I was also able to get a few more krana kal for collecting but those aren't as interesting. Also seeing as Hanahtu had a gold vahi for his toa I decided to compare the two as his always was a little brighter than other gold parts. The result being a slight colour variant with mine (being on the right) as a regular shade of dark gold while Hanahu's (on the left) being a little brighter. In person it's a little easier to see however I feel as the photo shows it well enough.

Makuta 2016 Combo model
I must say he is quite the interesting build as well as a interesting looking model. He's large and imposing which is always nice and decently poseable. I am however a little disappointing in his arms as they seem a little skinny and his body looks just a little fat. I guess he's been eating to many pizza pops. Also I wish they had used the trans purple pieces instead of trans orange as it would have felt more accurate for Makuta. I feel it wouldn't of been to hard seeing as Onua, Quake Beast, and the creature of earth all have purple. So just using Quake beast instead of Tahu and the creature of fire use Quake beast and the creature of earth. I bet the designer could of come up with basically the same result. However overall I am happy with it and am glad to add it to my 2016 collection.
